Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center is offering a Conference in Quality and Safety.
The goal of the conference is to advance a culture of integrated quality improvement in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology,
provide a forum to share and discuss ongoing initiatives, and foster collaborative work in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology quality and safety.
The symposium will feature keynote speakers and a poster session.

Physicians, residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of the lecture, the participants should be better able to:
- Integrate Quality and Patient Safety standards in the clinical practice of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
- Identify and share tools to present data of Quality Improvement projects relevant to Pediatric Hematology and Oncology patient population and to publish Quality Improvement projects
- Understand Quality and Safety leadership skills
